Steering Stabilizer

alright (truck specs in signature) but i have 33x12.5x15lt tires

they pull in many cracks in the road and usually always fighting it, (lot of country roads out here). sometimes i cant even control the truck it pulls so much in a direction. i just had it aligned about 3 weeks ago.

so i was wondering about a steering stabilizer.

what is a good brand to get that isnt very expensive? im not offroading im usually just driving to school or work.

i only need a single, unless you think i need a double. i plan on getting 35x13.5x15 toyo open country's within the next 3-6months.

You'll have that with any wide tire. It's the nature of it. You could put a stablizier bar on it but i've only seen two kits for IFS fronts and to me they didn't look like they would help. When you have a wide tire it will follow the road, try driving a Z06 on a wallowed out road. I'd make sure you have good shocks and good steering compnents that arn't worn out.

i just replaced all of my shocks with rancho RS5000 and had a idler arm replaced, along with both ball joints

Steering stabilizer will help you to some degree, it will only help in sudden jerks on the front wheels like hitting a pot hole but with wide tires you will get that. A single might be good for your needs but a double is better but it will make your power steering pump work harder when making turns. I havent seen to many for a IFS but tons for a solid front axle.

Start by checking if you can run one with your 3" lift. Im guessing its a Rough Country. Ask them how much theres is. If they dont have one check with superlift.

yea they make one its only about 50 for the whole kit. (rough country)

installed tonight.

was a pain and the directions didnt help 1 bit. they sucked there was about 9 steps and skipped many important details. and there was 1 picture in black and white. and on the back of the instructions there was about 5 quotes from the bible, not kidding. lol. put it in, u- bolts were too long, so i had to space them up a little bit. idk it was a pain, if your in the market for a stabilizer check out something else than Skyjacker.

btw after all of that it does help ALOT!
