I was looking in my owners manual and came across the section on coolant heaters. Apparently my truck has it (or so the manual says they all have it), can someone tell me where it is located. In the manual it says it's located near the PS pump resivoir, but I couldn't find it. Anyone know exactly where it's supposed ot be located, and the best way to get to it? Also- will it hurt anything to leave it plugged in (once I locate it) overnight even if the temps only dip down to around 25*F?

Thanks,

Matt

If you want the "block heater" , the cord can be found zip tied to the frame inside the front drivers side fender well (lower left in front of tire.)

That is "IF" your truck is so equipped.

pretty sure it's only if you have the Duramax....

K05 is not just a Duramax option, it can be on gas engines also. This option is not a high runner though.
