i have found a truck with all the options i want but is a flex fuel engine. we don't have flex fuel where i live so if i never run e 85 is it going to cause any engine problems in later years or should i stay away from it all together. also it didn't have navi which i also wanted but would like to put a pioneer avic z2. read some reviews saying stock navi not that great....now how compatible will this be for say steering wheel controls, rear dvd player etc. 2008 silverado ltz 1500 with bose....

Wondering the same thing, are the 5.3 liter V8 Flex fuel engine have the same power and everthing as a normal 5.3 V8??

They are actually better because they have larger injectors. Mine is an E85 and I use traditional fuel.
