Does anyone have suggestions or their fixes for a cover for NBS silverado center consoles. I have the work truck package with cloth seats. The console is the back of the middle seat that flips down. I would like something that could stay on when it flips up to allow for 6 seats. I am pretty good with wood working tools.

Would this work? Make a rectangle to fit over with a lip for the inside. Put a locking mechanism that pushes two pins outward into holes drilled into the plastic liner.

I guy a little while back was selling these for the front seat console. Didn't look that bad of a lid.. Do a search.

That guy was just selling the lid part. I want a way to lock it into place so that I can lift and use it as an actual seat.

You should stick to post your obscenely high gas prices. A result of your uninformed voting habits. Have a nice day.   The one you posted is correct. Just the 4 bolts are one time use. The other two don't need to be replaced.

  Just visited the body shop. They agreed that the bolts are yield to torque bolts and will order and replace all six bolts. They assured me that the tech will install using a torque wrench only. The estimator is not too clear with OEM torque specs. Are the specs listed on my attached pic correct? I also googled and found various specs.

  Which ones did you get the HD or MD? After driving back from South Carolina this morning, I can confidently say the unloaded ride is considerably better with the RAS installed than it was without it. The truck feels more stable, smoother over bumps, and overall more controlled. I wasn't expecting such a noticeable difference when unloaded, but so far I'm very impressed with the improvement.

  Still $5.40 for 87 and well over $6 for diesel this morning. The same fuel was in the mid $3 range back in January, about $2+ lower before this Iran business started. Diesel was low 4's, also at least $2 cheaper per gallon. Waiting for it to reach those levels again, at least. Although, I don't think anyone intended surrender to Iran, which is what we're doing. I'd have rather paid higher gas prices until a deal in our favor was reached. I mean, Obama didn't have to give them $300 Billion and remove all sanctions on their oil, and let them toll the Strait. We'll be paying higher fuel prices likely forever, now.
