2009 Chevrolet Camaro

so the Camaro is coming to the motor show this weekend, and i can't wait to see it up close. just doing a quick poll to see what others think. please feel free to post comments, good or bad.

I voted not interested.

That is not to say that I am not interested in the car because it should be awesome. It is just that I am always going to be a truck person first.

I woudn't mind having one for a "fun" car,I just think the dealers are going to overprice them when they first come out (Hell and I work at a dealer!!) and if thats the case I'll just get what I really want.....A Corvette!!!

well i hope they don't overprice them... they won't sell. supposed to be along the prices of mustangs....

My wife is actually the one that fell in love with it...The bumble bee car, as see calls it.

it'll either be between the 6 or the base 8 for her...i'm shooting for at least the base 8, but with gas prices the way they are...we'll see.

The thing is an amazing car, I was able to see it first had at the SEMA show...very nice.

I would love to get my hands on one, just wondering if there will be a waiting list here in Canada. I'd shoot for all the options, ragtop and whatever else I can get. (SS, RS, Z28???) if there is such an option.

With the posted losses from GM these days, I hope they don't decide to shelf the Camaro.

Used to have a 68 SS, sold it to get married, what a mistake!!!

Gonna trade in the wife's 07 Civic Si as well........hahaha

My dad's Civic is on it's way out. I'm gonna try like hell to convince him to get one, but he will never buy anything with more than 4 cylinders, that comes from any place other than Japan.

im not at all interested in owning one, but they look sweet. I most prefer 4th gen f-bodies most, specifically 1998 - 2002 LS1s

I hated having to give up my '02 WS6, but oh well, i'll be getting another f-bod sooner or later!

My dad is going to look at buying one when they come out. Its gonna be a rockin car thats for sure. Has anyone heard news about the Trans-Am's release? I've seen pictures of a new concept, but i'm not sure if its coming out. It would be on the new Zeta-platfom like the camaro, so many similarities between the two.

Firebird/TransAm isn't coming out, just the Camaro.

Man... I really like that Firebird rendering. I'd love to have either one of the new pony cars. Price will probably determine whether I buy one or not.

I doubt Pontiac will bring their version back with the GTO currently back ( since back in the day the Firebird/Trans Am out sold GTOs ) and with the new G8 & all, but then again, I did doubt the Camaro was coming back..

I'd love to have one of the HO V8 models, but it depends on the price. The burban should be payed off by then and I wont have any payments with the exception of a house payment, so I'll probally end up picking one up sometime next year.
