Vibration Coming From Inside The Dash

Hi Everyone,

 

We took the 2005 Yukon XL to the dealer for the vibration in the dash and they said it needed some exhaust clamps, so they special ordered it and we thought they fixed it (under warrenty). It seems to only do it when you accelerate up to about 40mph, but when going faster speeds you don't hear it. It's very irritating noise.

 

We are now out of warrenty now, do you think we should take it back and say they the clamps didn't fix the problem? It was about a year and a half ago that they put those clamps in.

question: after they installed clamps and the noise still occured why didnt u tell them then?

it cant hurt to bring it in and see if they can find the issue , but they will prolly charge you.

 

i think i read somewhere in the site here that some trucks have a raatling noise coming from inside the dash and that it might by the onstar module. i assume a 2005 yukon has onstar?
