The Good the Bad and the ugly.....

There I am Xmas day, told the family I had to work (really didn't tee hee) so that I wasn't leashed onto any family functions.  Anyways, me and 3 buddies all take our trucks out onto some trails.  I live about 30 minutes away from real farm country (where my buddies live) and they have all kinds of neato trails.  Anyways we come to a big ol sand pit.  Everyone starts getting a lil crazy, and with my fragile ego I join in the fun.  We were off for about 3-5 hours wasting gas.  

Anyways, thats they Good.  The Bad was a put a hellofa scratch on the left side of my bed.  The ugly is that I burned out my clutch (cries).  I realized this when she wouldn't go over 50 and popped outa 5th every now and then.  So now, I had my 15 min of fame or so, now i'm outa truck for the time being....  dang my immaturity all to hell.....

 

Anyone have any idea how much it is for clutch installation?

*sigh* I gotta start shopping around.

Gotta ask, did any of your family members question just exactly how this all happened while your truck was parked when you were hard at "work"???

Well, not really.  Guess they are just too trusting? lol Just told my pops i thought my clutch was going, let him take it out for a drive and he was yap, shes gone.  It was just drenched in slush. Looked like it had been on the highway I guess.    Everybody tinks mesa good lil boy.
