Yeah high school was so long ago and my how we have GROWN UP since then.

Yeah - My 20 yr reunion is supposed to be this year. A lot has changed in 20 yrs!

Well, mine was last year so I'm right behind you. Man, I miss the 80s.

I miss being able to get new music like that.. Some of those old bands are still making music, but it's not the same (or maybe it's too the same?).

Agreed. When I was in Texas, I saw a lot of the 80s bands that were making their re-reunion tours. I was surprised at the number of people that attended. There were even a lot of younger generations there. At work, most of the guys I work with either grew up in the 80s or really like the music of the 80s so it's always nice walking by the different offices and hearing all the 80s bands coming out of each one

Yeah, a few years back I went to a show like that... Poison, Warrant, Great White, Quiet Riot, and a few others... It was kind of cool, seeing all those guys play the music from "waaaay" back. I just wish it hadn't been part of the "outdoor summer concert series," in July.. in Texas..

I sure know that feeling. It's way too down there in San Antonio. Gald I'm in a cooler climate now. Daddy and Jeff must have had late nights because I have yet to see them in here. Figured they would come running as soon as word spread that posted something.

So... Basically, you're admitting to being a liar? You supposedly "made up" this big "joke" for April Fools and then said it wasn't a joke and then you get mad when people believe that it wasn't a joke, when you yourself said (let me scroll back up here... oh, yes!) "this is not an April Fools joke...I wish it was."

Quit wimpering, whining, pouting, and throwing tantrums. Man-up and admit you screwed up (and LIED about it either being or not being a joke) and maybe things can get back to more or less normal around here... OR, we could all just put you on ignore...? Whichever!

Hilarious. I have been building a garage in my spare time, and lately I got bored of some of the music in my ipod so I have been seeking out 80's metal stations, and dug out my Garage Days Revisited (appropriately enough). Man, some of that music is just timeless. Or, you can listen to a band like Fu Manchu that is just kind of stuck there...

What I tend to forget is that there is SO MUCH of it - you only ever get to hear the crap they recycle on the 80's stations, which was probably top40 for each year. Boy I miss that stuff sometimes - now that music has become mechanized/electronified even the metal sounds like techno-crap.
