a Silverado. I was finally able to take a couple of pics even though it's pretty dirty right now. 2003 Silverado 1500, 5.3, 3.73's, 35x12.5x17, 6" suspension lift, rear air bag suspension, flowmaster, 4 wheel disc, all kinds of good stuff my other truck didn't have.

Here ya go-

I bought it as it sits except for a few minor improvements.

This is what I replaced....my wife asked why I would bother to get a new truck as they look the same. Why change what you like? :P

That's a nice rig. Love the wheels.

Nice rig. Love the Leer shell. Had that exact model (100 XQ) on my last truck and have one ordered for my current one.

it probably isnt that bad... 4.10's would be a lot better though

thanks for all the kudo's!

The 35's with 3.73's really isn't all that bad. I was real concerned about that possible issue since we have a boat to pull around during the summer months but it pulls just fine. I was even surprised when I put it in towing mode that the tranny shifted into OD right about 64 mph and stayed there.

The old truck had a 5.7 TBI (2500)with 4.10's and 31" tires and to be honest, this '03 pulls much better...100 more hp with the Vortec is probably a good reason. I'm also a contractor, not that I always tote around a bunch of heavy stuff but once in while it happens and this truck definitely holds it's own.

I'm really liking the 12/13 mph around town and 20+ out on the highway as opposed to 8/9 and 13 respectively. I guess you could say I'm doing my part in conserving fuel :P

People keep saying this 20 + on the highway. I've never seen a truck that could do this especially not one with 35 tires on it. I'm running 3.73 gears and a flawless mat. routine with 33 inch wheels ; I might get 16ish if I baby it.
