I bought a pair of AVS chrome vent visors for my truck and wasnt sure if it would look odd or would look good, I have a smoked hood guard that I will in time replace with chrome also if it looks good, I just wasnt sure if I should leave the smoke vent visors and hood guard on there or replace em with the chrome ones, my truck is white and has alot of black on it so I figured maybe this would give it a different look but I am looking for either pics of em on a white truck or just what others think before I go and do all the removing of the ones on there now to put the chrome ones on.

IMHO stay with the black. I really don't think the chrome would look that good on a white truck. Do what ever makes you happy though, after all, it is your truck.

Nah, that's not really something you want to "stand out" on a truck.

But while you're here.... I'd also ditch the hood deflector, it doesn't look right with the grill guard. Seems to be "in the way." And that thing above your windshield... definately not a fan. And it's hard to tell from this angle, but the rear tail lights, already getting that "rice" vibe. Chrome mirror covers sorta feel left out with everything else on the side of your truck. Perhaps some chrome wheels would help 'em out?

But I mean, other than that, great lookin' truck man.

I thought about ditching the hood deflector actually for awhile but never could figure out if I should or not, I know it's a PITA to open the hood with it there so I will get rid of it the next nice day since snow is coming tonight, the thing above the windshield has to stay now as it's permanently bolted to the roof so I can't remove that, the tail lights are actually LED tail lights and are chrome inside, I have the stock tail lights but got annoyed with replacing bulbs so I upgraded all of my lighting(headlights & tail-lights), I will be upgrading the wheels once my tires are paid off on the sears card. I honestly thought about getting a chrome brush guard and chrome side bars but was really expensive and from what I am told is harder to keep clean so I went with black as black goes with anything really.

Thanks for the compliment on my truck.

P.S. after I had posted this topic about an hr after , I ran back to where I bought the chrome visors and returned em, I sat there and thought to myself I paid $40 for the pair of black visors and $80 for the chrome, what the hell is wrong with me paying that much for plastic.
