Try ebay. I can tell you one thing though. I added a K&N set-up to my 07 classic 4.3 and it didnt really make much of a difference performance whys. All it did was make it a little louder. Im still trying to find something i can do to get more power and keep some gas milage.

yeah i know what you mean

but thanks

i wouldn't mind it being louder thou lol

Buddy of mine has a V6 in an 06 Classic.... I believe he once told me that there is a Volante that fits that engine... I'll ask him tomorrow...

Don't take this as gospel, though.

I can't imagine K&N doesn't have one.... (?)

Did you check GM Performance Parts? Little more $$$s, but in a pinch, you KNOW it would fit if they sell one for that engine....

Hope this helps...

Just out of curiosity, won't that void the engine warranty? (You're talking about a intake MANAFOLD, right?)

Airaid makes what you are looking for. I had one on my 2006 Silverado 4.3L. They are similar to a K&N type.

AJUSA

Search for part #AIR 200-196

Not the intake manifold... ©old (A)ir (I)ntake --- a/the structure that routes air from/through the air filter TO the manifold; specifically designed to get this air to the manifold as cold as possible, i.e. as DENSE as possible, thus increasing the mass of air to the engine. It also has design features which attempt to minimize pressure losses (friction) through this system.

The stock structure performs the same function, but does not, necessarily, get it there as cold as possible, or as efficiently as possible. This is usually due to the manufacturer designing more to cost than function --- good enough vs. good as it gets.

Will replacing the air intake negate its warranty --- yeah, I guess, as its no longer there...

Adding an intake won't void your warranty. Things that would are an intake manifold, new ECU, ect. Check will the dealer to make sure but I can go as far as putting a new throttle body on mine and it wont void the warranty. It just wont cover the aftermarket part.
