Can You Guess Which Exhaust This Is?

A few weeks ago I decided to remove my Corsa Sport exhaust and go with something a bit different. I've had a lot of folks come up with a wide range of thoughts as to what it is. So I thought I'd record a clip today, remove the video, and see what you guys though! Other than the mods you see in the sig, it's just a good 'ol 6.0l V8 in a Yukon Denali!

Click link for audio clip!

Alright Jim, edited the original post with an alternate clip - just for you! But the first one is WMA and does sound better.

HUH... same deal. It just never loads. Thanks for the effort!

Sounds like the exhaust I have on the 5.3, straight pipe with no muffler and duals tips out the back. Although, it sounds like yoyu have a single exit pipe.

Sounds like no muffler......but whatever it is or isnt, sounds good! :D

I'm gonna have to say straights too, but the engine sounds warm. If you posted a recording of a cold start it would be more evident I think. Or maybe it's because I hear it every day.

Engine was definately warm and pipes are in the stock location. But it's actually the stock muffler. :D

We left the Corsa Dual 4" tip, replaced some of the pipes, and threw the on the stock muffler I saved. The 6.0l has always sounded mean, but the tip does help just a bit, and the tune definately changes the way the exhaust sounds. I never had a tune + stock exhaust, but it's quite nice. All kinda of low-end torque, plenty of power, and absolutely no hint of drone at any speed/RPM. :D

I was going to say stock, but you beat me to it.

My mom had an Escalade for 5 years so I know the sound pretty well. I recognized the start-up sound, it is very distinctive.

Yeah, these trucks do sound pretty awesome when they're stock. But in the cabin, it's way quieter than the sound clip would lead you to believe - in particular, at the higher RPM's, where the engine sound takes over. Which is what makes it so tempting to go with an aftermarket exhaust. But hey, the engine still sounds awesome!

I do miss the sound of the Corsa Sport... but I don't miss the drone. And I gotta say, it's nice having a quiet truck again.
