Replacement Headlights

Hey y'all,

My '99 Suburban (older body style) has severely hazed headlights. I've tried polishing them, but no luck. I need to replace them. HIDs would be great, but I don't want to invest that kind of money in a vehicle that's not my daily driver. I just want a decent quality replacement. I've checked ebay, but was hoping some of y'all could chime in with recommenedations on who to try or who to stay away from!

I don't particularly care for the "HID look" bulbs if the performance isn't there to back it up. I've bought "HID appearance" bulbs before and in some cases they were worse than stock. They looked great, but not from the driver's seat! :chevy:

Hoping y'all can point me in the right direction of a quality set of replacement housings and bulbs!

Thanks,

Tommy

Well first off, have you tried Flitz polish restore for plastics on your headlamps? Unless you are certain they are done for, try that out.

I would just buy brand new OEM lights and keep them clean and they will last you long.

For my 98 Silvy I got the clear headlights and taillights because mine were yellowed too. I liked them alot. They were alot brighter when they were in also. I got them from Ckresto.com, I think it was cheaper than LMC Truck had them for. Heres a pic.
