I am pullin a 84 scsb chevy on a car hauler this weekend from Houston to Ft Worth. My truck is a 08 scsb with a 5.3 with 3:73's. I should be able to pull this with no problems right? Just turn on the tow haul mode and go?

I hope you've a brake controller installed in your truck.

No I dont think I do? I know my ford truck came with one. So I am guessin my chevy didnt come with one?

 

Not if you didnt order one or install one afterwards.

Do you have a tranny cooler?

 

 

perhaps the car hauler has surge brakes

+1 If its just electric, go to an RV/ Trailer shop and purchase a controller, they are not that expensive.
