So I want to level my 2008 chev 2500HD for a better look and the ability to clear 285's.

I want the ride quality to not change or change a very minimal amount and I don't want it to void warranty.

What are the options?

-Crank torsion bars (reduce ride quality) no cost!

others please.... cost of option greatly appreciated as well

thanks guys

There's really no other way than cranking the t-bars. And don't get fooled by the aftermarket keys that say they retain the stock ride quality, it's a bunch of BS. All the aftermarket keys are, are re-indexed torsion keys that allow you to crank the t-bars further.

If you do crank the stock keys, don't go over 1.5" or you'll start to wear things out faster. Some people have cranked up to 2", and claim they don't feel a difference in the ride, and others have only cranked an inch and said that the ride went to sh*t, so it really depends on the individual truck, and driver. The ride quality shouldn't suffer too bad if you only crank an inch or so, and if it sucks, you can always de-crank. Just remember, whenever you do anything to the t-bars, you'll need a front end alignment.

Good luck.
