Need Help With A Part # Please

I need to replace the transfer case on my '03. Could any of you parts gurus dig up the part # number for me. Going to GMPartsDirect give me about 30 options.

You have the NV246 "AutoTrak" transfer case...You can go two ways,Reman is part #24228439 with a list price of $1.550.15,Or a new one which is part #24240016 and has a list price of $1,940.54...Both have a core charge of $300.00 so they'll need your old one back unless you wanna' pay 300 bucks.

BTW...The broadcast code for it is "WP"

Well you could just buy the case half thats cracked,But you'll obviously have to transfer everything over.

Here ya' go......Frt half-part#88996461 list for $720.95,Rr half-part#12474949 list for $443.47

 

Or,Can you weld the crack up?......Or I know for aluminum wheels GM actually has a bulletin telling us to use RTV silicone to seal any "porosity" in the wheel,Wonder if this would work for you?

issue with the hole in your case?

These guys sell the mod part aka the cure to prevent

it from happening again. Cost $250

 

They also sell the t-case replacement halfs for $275.

I have one out of a 01 2500 non hd i'll sell cheap if you want to save some dough and it's compatable...
