my07silvy Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 I want to have the color matched grill and bumper....Should I order one from GM for 330 bucks with the chrome mesh already in it? Or should I have both painted, then order my own grill and bowtie? Almost seems like it'll be close in price either way....or what about buying a WT grille, painting that, and selling my chrome one on ebay? Opinions???
iminaquagmire Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 There are no GM black impact bars so you'd have to have that painted. As for the grille, the last quote I got to repaint mine was 295. If you go that route, you can have them do the bumper too and it would most likely be cheaper because they can shoot them at the same time. Body shop quotes will vary all over the country so my best advice is that unless you want the chrome plastic mesh that comes with the LTZ grille, go get some body shop quotes.
alaska511 Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 I am not sure. But it may help when attempting to pull a Dodge around. just playin' Steve
my07silvy Posted May 11, 2008 Author Posted May 11, 2008 I'm hoping to bluff well and scare the dodge off with my color matched front end! LOL
