Windshield Washers Turn On By Them Self's. 07 Silverado

Windshield washers on my 07' silverado decided to turn on by themselves and go for about three of four cycles. I tried turning them on and off manually but they just keep going until they decided to stop. Anyone else have this problem? And what is is? Thanks

I see that you have an LTZ. Do you have the Rainsense wipers? That might explain it.

Don't know? They don't go on by themselves when it rains. But I was sitting in the truck in an open parking lot and it was a clear sunny day.

You might have the heated washer fluid switch turned-on,That'll do it....thats what they do when there turned-on,they cycle 3-4 times,then wait another 10-15 seconds and cycle again 3-4 times,they will keep doing this until you shut them off,or turn the truck off.

That could be a good possibility. My younger brother was in the front seat and I was just getting into my truck so he prob was touching the buttons.
