Strange Problem On My 08

Well for the past week or so I have been noticing engine whine in my radio it comes and goes. Well this weekend when I would open the door the interior lights would flash off and on for maybe 40 secs then stay on as they should. Then sunday the truck would not stay cranked took 5 times to keep it cranked all the dash lights and headlights would flash off and on like a dead short or something. So now this morning it is in the shop too be hunt down. Any of you guys ever seen this before ? My guess is the alternator is not charging as it should.

Well to update my issues the techs thought it was the BCM but after today and talking to a GM engineer

There is a wiring problem. The communcation wire the runs though out the truck and talks to the 7 computers has either gotten pinched or gotten rubbed to it has shorted and lost communication. So now I have a rental

The rental is a 07 chevy lt crew cab

 

Btw we are still not sure it is a short in the high speed or low speed lans on the truck he is still thinking it the BCM but GM is being a bitch for some reason or another about getting a new BCM.
