jman_07 Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 I have a 2002 Suburban 5.3L V8 just this morning i went to start it pulled it out of the driveway and The Rpm began to flexuate a bit would rev to about 750 Rpm then back down to 500 now this truck Idles at 500Rpm is this normal? Ok so i thought nothing of it parked it went to start it started a bit hard turned over almost didnt start then slowly bought the RpM back up. Now it seems ok when warm but im not sure. shakes bearly at idle. Also lately when accelerating there is a rattling sound in the engine almost sounds like bad lifters any idea what the hell is going on? Also maybe its a stick or something but when accelerating there is some sort of random clicking noise that will happen underneath the truck any ideas?? Thanks.
Zembonez Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 Is the check engine light on? Are there any codes set? If you haven't checked, you'll need to have somebody pull the coeds. More info will be needed to venture an educated guess.
Zembonez Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 Impossible to answer with the amount of info we have here. I suggest having it looked at by a GM specialist.
