I know this doesn't really fit in with the forums but I thought some of you might like to see it. I'm not sure if I believe a Duramax would fit, but I guess with enough money anything is possible. I'd like to see the proof it's a diesel under the hood.

burnouts don't mean sh!t, any car can do it especially with a line lock or brake torquing (well, except front wheel drive/all wheel drive vehicles) :banghead:

There was talk on the Corvette forum a couple weeks ago about a diesel vette. Some guy was dropping a diesel in his C3.

 

This link got posted up to the original thread. Sounds like he was having to add some structure so the car would support it.

Hopefully the link works for every one. Apparently the car is here in Des Moines. I've never seen it, but the guy on Corvetteforum said his brother would show it to me. :banghead:

I know it's because he can but, why would you do that? Wouldn't the NA engine have been far more response in acceleration?

Probably, but then he couldn't brag to his friends about how his diesel powered car is faster than theirs.
