Was In A Car Chase Today!

Hey all, well today I was driving home from work and the highway goes from two lane and merges to one lane. Well these morons decide to pass me while the road was beginning to merge and then matched my speed and started coming over into me. So I floor it and pass them on the shoulder before they hit me. Well of course it was all my fault, so they ride my ass then pass me. The passenger hangs out of the car door and flips me off, so of course I reciprocate. So they speed off and I thought oh well. Well up the road a bit they are driving 45 in a 60 so I would catch up with them, however I stayed way behind them. As I approached my turn they slowed even more and as I turned they spun around in a parking lot and came after me. So I tried to lose them in town but in a big truck I can only go so fast. Eventually I lost them but man they must be crazy. I didn't want a confrontation because they could of had a gun. The woman was in her mid 30's with a mullet, and had 2 maybe 18 year olds in the car.

So my question is. Those of you who are good with photoshop, could you look at this pics of the car? I am unable to see the license plate. I really appreciate it. I just don't want them coming after my truck considering the license plate on it is really noticeable because it is an operation iraqi freedom plate. Sorry for the grammer and such, I'm still on edge.

Just have a cold one and don't worry about it. They are just trailer trash and they will move on to something/someone new. I am betting they have already forgotten about it/you.

Not much you could do anyway. It's your word against theirs.

Probably nothing to worry about, but I would keep the photo of the car with you. They just might be some sick assholes that don't forget. God is with you my friend.

dang thats kindof scary...

Speaking of scary (sorry, I am about to "extend" yet another thread ). Today I get home from work and read the front page of our local (city) newspaper. There was an article about an 18 yr old kid (2008 graduate of our local HS) that is in jail for attempted robbery and terroristic threats. Turns out he planned to prove to his buddies that he could get away with a random murder. So, he planned to kill a single adult male that lived alone. His plan was to break a window, then leave and come back in a day or 2 and enter through the broken window for a quiet entry. Then he planned to stab his victim and/or slit his throat, cut off his eyelids and remove his heart. Then he was going to burn the evidence (rubber gloves, hat, etc) with acetone in a farmfield somewhere. Well, he accomplished the first step, he broke a patio door window and the next day one of his buddies heard about it and decided to save this guy's life, so he reported him. They arrested him and found the rubber gloves, hat, knife, etc in his trunk.

Now for the scary part, this happened ON MY BLOCK!!! No, I am not a single male, but still. So much for the so-called safety of living in a nice suburban neighborhood.

It just goes to show, that there are a lot of really f**ked up individuals out there. I can remember back in the day, when you would get in a fight with somebody in a bar or whatever and when it was over, it was over. Now-a-days if you kick somebody's ass, they come back with all of their buddies and really clean your clock. It is very scary out there. Probably why I don't get out much anymore.

I was afraid of there not being enough data. It is a rainy day and I just wasn't close enough. I should of just drove to the sheriff office but hind site is 20/20. The sucky thing was I was getting ready to go pick up my 5 month old son and I sure as hell didn't want to lead them there.

Vmax i'm sure your right. It is just my mind is racing and covering every possible attack they could bring on. I am more than likely giving them to much credit. It must be my military training I guess coming back out.

Now, I am an aggressive driver myself, who's trying to change, Too many idiots out there, FAR too many. I know they were fools, and could have caused you damage and harm, but, you should have backed off then you saw what was going to happen. Being right is just not worth it. Remember, you have more to lose than those kind of trash who behave foolishly.

Backing off was my first choice but I had cars behind me, maybe if I could have backed off slowly it might have worked. With a car up my ass and another behind them I felt my best choice was to take the shoulder and get ahead before I was completely ran off. Oh and it is a Missouri plate and thanks for checking out the pic for me.

Seriously though, don't sweat it. I'm sure they've done enough meth already tonight to have forgotten all about it.

I had that happen to me when I was young. I passed the guy and stopped him in the middle of the road and gave him a piece of my mind. These days, I would not even try, since I may wind up with a slug in my chest. Or just as bad, let it get out of hand, kill the fool (Yes, we carry guns here in Georgia too), and go to jail for life.

Just not worth it.....

Let 'em have the road. You go home safe and raise your kid.....

I am close to retiring. The idiots can have the highway.....
