being a canadian I'm beginning to notice most of the american owners are refering to various gear ratios, can you actually choose your gear sets? In canada we get 4:11 or order the 5.3L for gear ratio options. No way way could I get the 6.0L with a 3:42 or 3:73 gear

Nope, 6.0 liters in 07/08 model years get either 3.73's or 4.10's. 4.10's are part of the NHT Max Trailering Package.

I thought for 09 the 6.0L is gone and the 6.2L is taking over. Maybe I'm wrong though. The 6.2L with the 6-speed is more fuel efficient than the 6.0L with the 4speed.

Nope the 6.0 and 6.2 will both be available in the 09's. The 6.2/6 spd will ONLY be available in the SLT/LTZ Crewcabs and the 6.0/6 spd will be available in the Ext cabs and Crewcabs. The Reg cabs are still stuck with the 4.3/4.8/5.3's. The 5.3's will also get the 6 spd. The 4.3 and 4.8's get the 4 spd.

So, for 09 you will be able to get a 6.2l with 4x4 and it doesn't have to be a denali. Pinch me, i think im dreaming.

 

If so i cant wait till Aug or next year as long as they have these discounts again.......
