Westin Or The New Gm Bull Bar?

Was debating on the new GM bull bar or Westin's bull bar. Decided to go with Westin since it was alot easier to mount lights. Here are a couple of pics of the bull bar installed.

More details please? Price? Where you got it from? Lights? etc, etc. How does it mount? Did you have to remove the tow hooks....any details would be sweet. I may have to get me one of these now that I don't have the chrome bug deflector anymore. :lol:

Thanks. My parts guy got it for me for $479. Other truck places it costs close to $600. The lights are PIAA 540's. I had them already from previous bullbar on my 05 Chev. They were about $230 I think. Yes you have to remove tow hooks but for the amount of time you use them I don't mind. Very easy to install, only takes about an hour or so. I had dealer install the light harness for the PIAA's. Anything else you wanna know, just let me know.

That definitely looks sweet. I really wish Westin would back their bull bar in black stainless. If they did, I'd get one in a heartbeat, but I won't bother with a powdercoated carbon steel up here in New England.

It looks really good. I'd love to get one but the $$ is a bit much and I've got a new shotgun I want for hunting season so it'll be another year before I get back to the bull bar.

 

It looks great with your color. :D

Ya I am not a fan of chrome either, but the black powder coated bull bar was not an option since they do rust eventually. Black stainless would be sweet. But all the grill/brush/bull bars out there are either chrome stainless or black powder coated...

So True. I sold the one I had on my 05 Chev for $200 as well. Its a good deal for a second hand one. To bad I had to buy the one for the NBS brand new. I think Westin makes the best looking light mounting bar out there for the money. There pretty much all for show unless you get into the heavy duty bumpers. I wanted a KC light bar originally but they only make a 2 tab light bar for the NBS 1/2 ton trucks which sucks because they make a nice 4 tab bar.
