Exhaust Issue

I have a good idea what the problem may be but I figured id ask for others opinions first just to see if my idea is right or not, I bought a flowmaster exhaust system for my truck and had it put on by the dealer where I bought my truck, now recently I have noticed after turning my truck on and it sitting for maybe a min or two that a little puddle of oily/dirty/ water is showing up directly under the inlet of the muffler and the pipe going to the engine, now I myself figure that its just a loose connection at that spot but am not sure, I also noticed when I pushed the outlets and the muffler forward some the muffler itself slide forward alittle on the inlet pipe, is this basically just an issue with the clamp on the front not being tight enough or is it something else somewhere else ? I mean the main problem is with the dirty oily water showing up directly under the inlet. I mean if its not gonna cause a major issue then I will leave it be, I just wasnt sure if what i figured was the problem and if the problem would or could cause an issue.

Sounds like a loose connection. As for the water, thats normal condensation. Your stock exhaust had a hole in the back of the muffler so water could run out and not rust the inside of the muffler.. My Corsa exhaust has a small hole in the bottom of the muffler for this.

Yip, I'd have it welded. Never been a fan of clamped on mufflers myself.

Thanks for the responses guys, I appreciate it, I will definetly look into the welding of the exhaust because I also agree that the clamps suck, they are already beyond rusted and im guessing they are not stainless.

i agree with zembonez... clamps have never done me good... you cant beat a good weld! good luck
