D&SYukonDenali Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Got into the truck the other day, it was fairly cool out (~60 degrees) and with the auto temp control on the A/C light was lit. Though I highly doubt A/C was needed, would it be really running the system? I actually think the cab was calling for heat since the arrow towards the feet was lit. Does anyone konw if the truck automatically turns on/off the A/C when needed? Can the light be on even if the A/C system is not running?
saxdogg Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 it runs the a/c almost all the time to dehumidify the air and for "comfort"...even when the heat is on it is blending
gvbhunt Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 I think that I read somewhere that it will run the AC until the temp is down to the upper 40's outside.
D&SYukonDenali Posted September 15, 2008 Author Posted September 15, 2008 Thanks, I'll have to keep an eye on it going into the colder months and see what happens.
