That wouldn't necessarily be bad. We could get Cummins engines in our trucks, and the Dodge guys could get a transmission that won't blow up if you look at it wrong.

I wouldnt want the cummins in my truck IMO... I have one in a ford 650 that I drive for work and its been nothing but problems...

Since when has Ford used the Cummins in anything? Wouldn't it be the 6.0 or 6.4 Powerjoke?

No, in the medium duty stuff Ford uses Caterpillars, Cummins, and Internationals.

No thanks, CAT + Allison = Greatness. I like my quiet Dmax over any of the Cummins diesels in the Dodges. No offense to anyone who likes Cummins or Dodge. I'm a GM fan boy and my grandpa worked for CAT for years and they have been nothing but good to our family.

Hey, if it helps out both GM and Chrystler then I am for it.

I am actually starting to consider an 09 Dodge instead of a GMC?

The new(er) Hemi puts out 390HP @ 5650RPM & 407 ft pds torque @ 3950RPM.

You have to admit thats pertty damn good.

Plus a 5 speed transmission and EPA fuel ratings comparable to Chevy / GMC

13 City 18 Hwy 15 Combined.

The bedside storage is a nice feature.

I also looked at the new 09 Ford F-150, I am NOT impressed.

Decisions.....

Yeah, but the 6.2 has 400+ HP and Torque, 6 speeds and it gets just as good mileage.

But yeah, it is a nice truck...but it is still a Dodge. Still in 3rd place in my ranks. (F150 is 2nd).
