Brushguard Question

I have a 2500 4x4 sierra.. its very hard to find brushguards for it since its not a HD.. ive heard 1500 HD's are the same front end? if this is true it will be easy for me to find one.. .saying i can buy a 1500 HD brushguard.. which should fit mine?

No, 1500hd have a different frame set up (more like 2500hd) from what I've seen of them. I could be wrong though, but I've seen some ebay auctions grouping that with the 2500s.

I mounted an avalanche brush guard on my 1500 truck

paid 10.00 for it was going to give to my brother but after mounting it on my truck I think I'm going to keep it

Ok, I'll try to answer this:

 

A 1500HD/2500 non HD is basically the same truck. The 2500HD sits around 2.5" higher from what I understand which of course need a different brush guard or mounting kit for one.

 

ARB gives the same part numbers for their brush guard mounting kits for 1500HD and 2500. Here is a link:

I'd put money on the 2500/1500HD brush guards being interchangeable, but not my lifes savings You may have better luck with answers in the HD Truck forum. Anyone else know anymore
