Is Zaino Worth The Price?

I have done some homework on Zaino, and people on the interwebs appears to be split down the middle concerning this. Some believe that Zaino products are the second coming and will cure all paint evils. Others say that it works good, but one could do just as well with prep time and using a good product like Meguires. What say you?

Like anything else (oil, air filters, bedliners, etc) there are fans of each type. I've only used Zaino products once. Nice, but hardly worth paying extra for. I like the Meguiar's family of products and use them exclusively. There are those who will fall on the sword during halftime at the Superbowl for Zaino but I am not one of them.

The one thing that I really like about Zaino is that they tell you explicity how to use their products, and in what order. Ie, you can purchase a bundle and it will come with instructions to use product a, then product b, then c, then d, then c again etc.

I use it, I am happy with it. It goes a long ways, so I don't think it is expesive. I don't use all their products, just the All-in-One, Z-2 and Z-6 Gloss Enhancer. You can buy all that for about $60.00 shipped to your door, and it will last you for a year. It sounds like a lot of work, but it lasts longer, so in the long run you are not spending as much time, re-doing the work.

By far the best I have used yet. i did the complete clay bar z5 3 times and z2 3 times and z6 in between each layer. and it is like glass. I would never go back to wax due to the fact that zaino will last me atleast through 3 months of winter and most likely up to 7 months when wax would have lasted only 30-50 days. Its totally different and superior in my opinion. It also removed 90% of swirls and imperfections in my paint. I've been a dedicated Zaino user for 7 years now. I tried all of the Mother's and Mequire's stuff and Zaino is far superior. The main thing is that, like already mentioned, it far outlasts all of the others. Lots of folks complain that it's difficult to use, but that is really only the initial application. Once you get a couple of coats on, it goes on really easy. I find that I'm actually able to use less product than if I were using other waxes. Every single car I own has been clayed and Zainoed the day that I brought them home.

 

BTW, those that think Zaino is expensive, take a look at what the NXT and other such brand name stuff sells for nowadays.

I never tried Zaino because I am lazy. I only wax twice a year, in the Spring & in the Fall. I also do not want to put on multiple layers. I have been using Klasse AIO and have been happy with it.

I have never used Zaino, probably because I had not heard of it up to this point. I have been a die hard Mcguires fan; however, just recently purchase a "bundle" from Lane's Car Products. Judging from what I have read so far about Zaino in these post... I hope i did not buy the wrong thing
