Picked up a white 08 GMC Sierra Ext. Cab with the California Package a few weeks back.

 

I'm really enjoying all the information on the board.

Already had the bed sprayed with Line-X. Not looking to do a whole lot at this point other then get the wheel wheels sprayed (Line-X) or get a set of wheel liners.

 

I've been doing research on leveling kits and the typical bolt-ons, however, I'm not sure I want to deal with the added noise associated with a CAI or exhaust.

 

I wouldn't rule out some new shoes though. Something wider with a more aggressive look.

F.Y.I. Wider and/or more aggressive tires will give you more noise as well. Get a CAI/Exhaust combo FTW!!!

Yeah i assumed the tires would add some noise. Moderation for the win (for right now).

 

Doesn't seem like CAI/Exhaust are worth too much other then noise. Bu if I did do anything I would get the Airraid MIT tube, and go have a custom Magnaflow muffler put on.

 

I haven't been under the truck yet, but my guess is that the exhaust is already mandrel bent with 2.75" tube. Can't see why I would need to get an aftermarket catback system.
