Hey,I'm generally not a fan of "cross switching" wheels from one truck model to another (Chevy to GMC,Tahoe to Sierra, etc.)

But those look good!! :D

And you didn't make us look through 100 pages of pictures of wheels to make up your mind!!!!!

Now.....I gotta' get my Cannon's off for winter :sigh:

I usually am not either but I got them for dirt cheap. I wish that there were some plain caps for those instead of the little gold chevy logo but it doesnt stand out and i dont really mind it.

Take em off?! you just put em on :sigh:

I am just running my wheels year-round. I will just put a good coat of good wheel wax on them and not worry about it. I don't want to mess with the hassle of swapping wheels twice a year. The wheels were only $220/each, so by the time I buy winter-wheels/tires and pay to have them swapped twice a year. How much have I really gained? Besides, I will likely want a new/different wheel in a few years anyway (no 100 page threads though, I promise :D ).

At least I knew what wheels I wanted and didn't keep changing my mind!!!

Thats right Jeff,You had the factory 20's and sold them.

I still have my OE 18's with the factory Bridgestone's,and I also have another set of OE "take-off" 18's that I mounted another set of Goodyear Wrangler AT/S's on.

They also all have tire pressure sensors in them,so all I have to do is unbolt my Cannon's and bolt on the OE's and program the sensors.

I change mine myself in the garage. Saves me 50-80 bucks I would guess plus I am the only one handling them and I dont have to haul them to the tire shop and what not.

The downside is I have my ARE's in the garage and I have my old steelies taking up space :D

I am gonna have a 100 page thread about switching summer and winter wheels.

When I lived where they salted the roads whether there was snow and ice or not I never switched my wheels.. Here in the south I dont even thing about it, its just not an option..

I really like those OE 18's you have with the black centers. I think they looks rugged like a truck wheel, especially for a OE wheel.

Yeah thats why I ordered them with the truck,I like them way better than the stock 17's.

Even though I knew I was probably gonna' get some custom wheels,I still wanted the 18's.

You POOR guys. :D

I'll think about you on those rare days that it gets down to 40 degrees here!

JRD, I think those Avalanche wheels work really well on your truck.

Just like we'll think about you when it's 80 and sunny here in the summer and you are roasting in 110 degree heat. At least when it's cold, we can dress for it. I'll take sub-freezing temps anyday over 100+ temps. I hate extreme heat!!!

I have to agree with you a little. I hate extreme temps of any kind really. We get those over 100 days only a few days a year typically... that and we NEVER have to shovel snow or deal with cold. We can boat, race, play year round without inclement weather. I'll take THAT anyday over your cold. I hate WINTER.
