Ok, I drove over 600 miles highway, back road, a little in the woods. I dont notice a change, on the trip up north and some driving around town I came out with 16.85 mpg. this is my calculation not the DIC numbers. That is a little low but before leaving friday night i was messing with my wife on the highway coming home from work, we found eachother on the way home and she was trying to race me I won! but there was about 2 miles that would be the reason for the low mpg's, the truck only goes about 98mph! thats fast enough but I was not lifting up and letting her pass me, thats the were some of the mpg's went. Like I said I did not notice any change in handling or mpg, or road noise. Didnt flip over backwards either .

 

As soon as the pictures come off the camara I will post some new pics up, Also have pics of the 99 classic grandpa got that I posted about a few weeks ago.

 

While I am thinking about the 99..... for having a 5.7 and 3.73 gears it feels like its dead, sounds good and drives great but no where near the power of mine. the original window sticker says the 5.7 is only rated at something like 245hp, you can tell!

my new 08 Sierra must have less ground clearance because my driveway is a hill and now when i back up it the air dam scrapes. never happened on my 06. even loaded. i may be removing mine as well before i rip the thing off.

NO...... I told her once I was going to get a GF with bigger boobs and a smaller ego, she laughed at me, mother-in-law got a little pissed( i said it at a family dinner). I can say it but my wife knows Im joking with her, she says I got no game, and I tell her that I agree or I wouldnt be with her! . My wife is pretty cool with that kinda stuff, but there wont be any extra bodies in the bedroom
