Hypertech E-con Installed

:D I must have sucker as my middle name. I suckered for the Hypertech E-Con programmer for my 2008 5.3 engine hoping for just a little better gas mileage. Should have known better. Had kept track of the gas mileage for the 1187 miles prior to the installation and now the 693 miles after installation with the gas mileage results being 16.41 mpg before and 16.04 after. Yes, I know there are variables so that with this few miles in the sample that it may not be an accurate test but still it appears not to be any improvement at all, none.

Anyone else have experience with this programmer?

Yep, when I uninstalled my Edge and sold it, I had about a month of driving stock before getting my custom tune and my mileage went up after taking the Edge out.
