Hi all,

 

Just thought I'd introduce myself. Over lunch today I thought I'd check the web and see what kind of GMC Truck forums were out there, and this one stuck out as being a good community from looking around a bit.

 

While I'm not totally new to owning a GMC truck (just returned my '05 SLE crew cab lease), I'm the proud new owner of a sweet new ride and I think I'll be a bit more "involved" with my new one :eek:

 

Just picked up this baby last week - 2008 SLT "All-Terrain" - and, WOW, I just love driving this one. I find the new style drives much more like an SUV (I compare it to my in-laws' Envoy XL a lot I'm finding). The only "toys" it doesn't have are the nav system and the DVD player which I'm not too sold on anyway ;)

 

I hope to get to know you all over the next while. I'll be poking in often!

Welcome, and great looking truck. I love those all terrain wheels. :jester:

 

Got anything planned for it? If not, we'll make suggestions, and spend all your money for the next year and a half. :smash:

LOL not yet. I'm not much for additions myself other than the running boards that you see there.

 

I would love to hear what people think about mods though...preferably ones that can fly under the "wife radar" ;)

Well, in that case, I'd have to say a touch screen after market HU, a supercharger, a 6" lift and some 37's. :smash:

De-badge if you like the look, leveling kit (the rough country kit is well under $100 here, not sure about Canada), custom tune, there's lots more.

 

If she's good with a Tech2 scanner though, she would be able to find the tune. :jester:

Hi there and welcome to GM Trucks from a fellow Canuck! :jester: Nice truck you've got there.

 

You could probably slip in a CAI, a cat-back, HID lights, custom tune, actually a few things could be added in stealth. ;)

Hehe, I've actually thought of doing the HID lights...love the look of them...any recommendations? I'm a "mod" newbie ;)
