New Guy From Sonora, Ca

The good news is that I picked up a "seasoned" 95 Sierra yesterday. White, 153k and hoping that once I get the layer of mung off of her that she'll clean up well. There are some innitial issues to deal with but hoping the foundation is solid. The sad news is that the Sierra be replacing my old 1966 Jeep J2000 pickup that has been my workhorse for about 8 years now, the Jeep will be moving to the ranch as a fulltime ranch work truck to continue hauling brush, rocks, and firewood around the property. But I'll certainly enjoy the better gas mileage and the much more comfortable ride in my new truck.

The other good news out of all of this is that through the heavy craigslist searching that I've been working for the last few weeks to find the Sierra I've rediscovered the 67-72 C10 trucks, thinking that there is going to be one of those in my driveway soon as well - just need to find that gently dropped street cruiser to bring home...

Been searching around here for the last few days and finding some great info, looking forward to contibuting something soon.
