Possible Dumb Question On Tonneau Cover

Hi all,

 

Wondering if anyone can help me with a couple questions. I recently turned in my leased 2005 Sierra crew cab short box and picked up my 2008 All-Terrain crew cab, and I'm LUBBIN' it

 

I still have my fold-up tonneau cover from the '05...what I'm wondering is will it fit my '08? I seem to remember something about GM changing something about the box on the new body style...

 

I guess I could get off my butt and try laying the cover out on the new truck box, but hey it's easier to ask here, plus I'm at work right now, so......

 

Also, if it doesn't fit, does anyone have any comments (good or bad) on Peragon retractable covers? They look like my best bet right now if I need to get a new one.

My soft roll up that was on my 04 fit just fine on my 07

GMT-900.

Don't know anything about the Peragon, but your old one won't fit. Sorry.

Well, we ended up being busy all weekend, so I didn't get a chance to do the measurements, but I'll try (if this damn snow lets up soon) to get to it soon

Anyhoo .......I checked that web site and it shows 2 different numbers for the 800 and 900 trucks

classic is g3-sb

gmt-900 is g4-sb

The Truxedo tonneau ("original" model) from my '05 fit right onto my '08 no problem. In fact of all the accessories I wanted to transfer over, this is the only thing that would. Step bars, bed rails, DuHA underseat storage, floormats, all had to get sold off and new ones bought for the '08. Oh well, I like new stuff anyways!
