'09 Truck Rebates

Do they finally have decent '09 model rebates? I saw a new '09 advertised on eBay and the add mentioned a $ 5,500 rebate. Is this correct? It was a 1500 Silverado crew cab.

I've only seen $1500 on the 1/2 tons & $500 on the HD's for the 09 models...not many of them on dealer lots at least around here...

Maybe it was a misprint - instead of $ 1,500 they said $ 5,500.

That's what I've seen as well. When I picked my truck up on friday, the rebates were $1,500 on '09's. They only had two on the lot and they were both 2wd extended cab. I ended up getting the $5,500 plus an additional $1,500 because the truck had been on the lot since april, plus red tag pricing it was over $10k off.
