JPG posting problem

Guys:

tried posting one of my jpgs at ClubPhoto and it worked fine in the test area.  When I try the same post in the General Forum I get an error -

"You are not allowed to use that image extension on this board. A valid format is: http://www.domain.com/picture.gif, an invalid format is: http://www.domain.com/picture.one.gif

 

Why does it work in the test area and not in the other forum?

I think clubphoto doesn't give you good links.  Check the link on the picture, does it even end w/ a file extension?  I know one of the photo places messes them up like that.  Try using web-photos.com if you're still having problems.

I would understand if it didnt work anywhere on the forum but when I preview it in the test area it works fine.  Just when I try to post the pic for real in the general area.  I have posted pics in the past (before the move to the new software) and they worked ok. This isnt the link I am posting but it is the same format and same place...

It's like I said, it has no extension like .gif or .jpg  That's why they won't work when you try to post them in here.  They need to have a valid file extension.  That's one of the downfalls of club photo.

Great, I joined there for a year....still puzzled on why it works in one area and not the other.....
