Recommended Posts

I want to replace my factory speakers in my 07 NBS Crewcab and I think I know the spreaker sizes but wanted to verify. I have a NON Bose system.

Front doors 5 1/4

Rear doors 6 1/2

is that the proper size to get?

Any comments would be appreciated..

According to Crutchfield.com, 6 1/2 - 6 3/4 will fit the front as well.

Nothing is a "direct" fit in a GM truck but they can easily be made to work. Install a 1 foot square of Dynamat over the opening before you install the new speaker and wrap it around the lip of the opening. It will tighten up the bass, prevent rattles and make it a much better sounding setup.

Many speakers up to 6.75 will fit in both the front and rear doors. Most kits come with mount brackets to make mounting easier.

I replaced my speakers with 6 1/2 pioneers front and back and they fit perfect with the adapters from Crutchfield.
