Buckets Vs Bench

I bought a used '07 Suburban LTZ with 2nd row buckets. It has the heated seat and fold option for the 2nd row. My question is... assuming I could find a bench to swap, does the bench have heaters and does the split bench use the power fold option too? Is this an easy swap?

 

I know most people prefer the 2nd row buckets - but I've got a special need for the bench - otherwise my current setup is sweet.

Before I picked up the Sierra, I was torn between a pick-up and a Yukon. The one I test drove on the lot had a bench seat with the power fold, but I cannot remember if it had the heat. It was an 08 though.

In mine I've got the second row bench with heated seats and power fold. I believe this was also available on the previous years GMT900 SUV's

No need to feel bad <smile> My sixteen-year-old is wheelchair bound and he uses a special harness to stay in the seat. For most of the time a bucket works fine, but we're planning a trip to Florida and a bench would be nice so that my wife or other son can occassionally sit beside him. Aside from that, it also provides extra space for "stuff" the kids inevitably bring along.

 

As I said before, I picked up the suburban used - so I didn't have a choice. The vehicle was in mint condition otherwise. Not a stain on the carpets. Cordless headsets for the DVD were still in the box! The guy hadn't even inserted the DVD into the navigation system. I absolutely love the truck.

 

I saw a post from someone in Texas who had a bench and was looking for buckets. Too bad we didn't live closer...
