04 Sierra Steering Wheel Backlights

I have a 2004 Sierra with the factory installed radio and DIC controls on the steering wheel. My problem is that several of the backlights have gone out and you can not see the switches after dark. Is there a way to replace a bulb easily on these?

It's not really possible to replace the lights in the steering wheel controls. I would suggest picking up a set or steering wheel controls from a similar truck from a junk yard.

Are they fairly easy to install? Or do I have to remove the airbag/steering wheel?

These are fairly easy to install....you really don't have to remove anything but the switch itself....best way is to get a longer, low profile standard screw driver and just carefully insert the screwdriver ontop of the switch housing and simply pull back(very carefully).......unplug the switch, and re-install the new one...
