BDS Suspension

 Does anyone have a BDS Suspension lift or know any thing about them? Preferably the lift for a ZR2?

It is currently the only suspension lift worth having for the ZR2/Highrider line of trucks in my opinion.

It gives a full 5" of lift,some have reported closer to 6" out of the kit and although BDS recommends 32" tires,you can clear 33's with a 15x8 wheel and staying close to factory backspacing.

Add in the fact that BDS has a lifetime no questions asked warranty and this makes it my obvious choice for a lift,even if Superlift does introduce their very long awaited 6" system in the next coming months like they are saying now.

From what I've heard so far it's a good lift. I called my local BDS dealer and got an estimate of ? installed. Ouch! I'm not sure I want to spend that kind of money.

That actually isn't a bad price for a 5" lift with installation included.

Someone was telling me a while back that the lift and shocks alone goes for around ? at 4 Wheel Parts.

I keep hearing this company's name lately.  Anyone with pics or personal experience with their product?

I haven't had any personal experience with them yet.

We did however just put a 4" system of theirs on a '78 CJ5 that my father owns and it seems to be a high quality product.

There are also some people at ZR2.com who have the 5" lift that Charles is asking about and they all seem very pleased with it.

I was looking at ZR2.com yesterday. When the time comes I'll probably go with the BDS lift.

I m going with BDS as well.. I m going to wait until I have enough money to get both the wheels and the lift because it would just look odd with the stock size tires and the lift..

I havent got any estimates yet but i m guessing since your state price is looking looking between 1800 i can easily look at spending around the 3000 mark for the lift :(Then for some decent tires/rims your looking at least 3000..  As soon as i can find someone around here that supplies them and will install them i ll get a serious quote...

But it wont be for a WHILE!!  I m going to wait until the truck is close to or paid off and after i ve done absolutely everything i want to my truck...

I checked with a place in Canada thinking the exchange rate might help. Total price US comes close to ?. When I get a chance I'm going to call the place that gave me the ? estimate and make sure tht was the kit installed etc. After talking to several people that sounds like a really good price.
