Signal Right But All Lights Flash

I noticed recently on my '05 CCSB when I signal right all the hazards light up. I doubt it's the turn signal mechanism that failed so I'm going to chance it to be the flasher relays. Is that located in the engine compartment or under the drivers instrument panel? Also, is there a separate flasher for right, left and hazard signals?

Thanks

Thanks for the schematic Roger. It's amazing my '95 ECSB had next to nothing wrong with it until I traded up to this '05. I've taken the easier of the two routes to see if the problem gets corrected. I ordered the HD flasher with trailering equalizer (p/n 10383320) - $75 CDN shop price! During my research on the net I found info that some relays were made with poor contacts (GM Document ID# 1507507) and had an OEM p/n of 15764135. GM replaced it with 10383321 (regular flasher for that p/n).

No bulbs were replaced. It's weird that this was happening intermittently and now more frequently. Let's see if the spend was worth it. I didn't even notice it until my son asked why I had my hazards on when turning.

update: I removed the factory flasher p/n: 15764135 - 2/4-w/opt trailering with the dealer recommended 10383320 3/6-w/opt trailering flasher. Problem solved - except when either L or R is signaled, it flashes twice as fast than before. All bulbs work and none are burned out. The hazard flasher flashes normal. Not an issue, just an observation.

I am having the same problem and will hope that replacing the flasher will work, but I have some questions. What is the difference/ between p/n 15764135 - 2/4-w/opt trailering with the dealer recommended 10383320 3/6-w/opt trailering flasher (what does 2/4 mean vs 3/6)? And p/n 10383321 is the 2/4 replacement for the original p/n 15764135? I'm trying to aviod having my turn signals flash faster with the replacement.

2 turn signals - 4 hazard lights - Like with a truck with no trailer. Two lights on the right side to indicate turn. Two lights on the left side to indicate turn. And 4 lights will flash with the hazard on.

Add a trailer and...

3 turn signals - 6 hazard lights - Three lights on the right side to indicate turn. Three lights on the left side to indicate turn. And 6 lights will flash with the hazard on.
