My Truck Is Like Zembonez

Yes, my truck whines like a little girl (and like Jim) when the temp gets extremely cold. It is going to the dealer next week for the following:

 

1. Cold weather front end rattle/clunk. Not suspension, but some type of clunky rattle in the engine compartment or front clip area. It's a resonance-type rattle when going over bumps in sub-20 degree temps. I have been chasing this the past 2 winters.

 

2. Pulley bearing whine/screech in sub-10 degree weather. Probably a tensioner pulley.

 

3. Climate control sensor fan, the little fan in the headliner right above the drivers head makes noise for a minute or 2 when starting in extreme cold weather after sitting outside all day.

 

It is supposed to be EXTREMELY cold here next week, so I am dropping my truck off Wednesday evening and letting it sit outside overnight at the dealer so they can start it up Thursday morning and experience it's "cold weather moodiness" firsthand.
