Sierra Denali Dual Exhaust

Recommended Posts

I have a customer with an 08 Sierra Denali with a 6.2. He want dual exhaust from the cat back. Anyone know if anything is available? I found several for the Yukon Denali, but not even close to fitting.

They have a vehicle look-up section. The "sport", or louder version is p/n 14516 and the "touring" version is p/n 14517. Probably a lot nicer quality than a Gibson.

Some have said that the touring isn't much different sounding than stock.

What's your beef with Gibson?

I'm a big fan of aftermarket exhausts and have put one on most of the cars I've owned. That said, the exhaust on the Denali's sound great stock and I'm very hesitant to add an aftermarket exhaust because it sounds so good from the factory.

Anyone have audio/video clips of an aftermarket exhaust on a Denali?

Mine was custom-fab'd at the muffler shop. They mandrel bent the pipes and put the dual pipes through a "Flo-Pro Big Oval" dual-in/dual-out muffler.. There are a couple of clips on the "My YouTube" link in my sig.

I've heard lots of good things about Corsa. I've just never owned a set.

Best of luck with whatever you decide.

Oh, yeah.. Here are a couple of threads on mine :

Original New Duals thread and some pics of the installation.

No beef. But check out the stainless they use. Borla and Corsa use 304 throughout which is probably why they cost more.

I did buy a Gibson tip for the SD cause they were the only ones making a 3.5" tip. Couldn't get a dual-wall, just the single and it was kind of cheesy. Definitely not in the same league as Borla.
