so where does this wistle seem to come from? Have you chcked the air cleaner and hoses?

The noise comes from one of the rotating componets on the serpenine belt at about 1000 RPM's. It is constant but goes away when you let up on the accelerator pedal. With this belt removed no noise at all. The tensioner, belt (2X), alternator and power steering pump have been replaced but the noise is still apparent. Any suggestions?

Yes it is! The TSB covers most 2007 trucks and SUV's with a 5.3L.
