Well I think most here know that I do obviously. My dad is not on very often, but he does have a 69 Camaro.

It was a hobby car and now is an enjoyment car. 1965 Impala SS

 

Glad the price of fuel has come done. This past summer when I finally go it finished, gas was so high I couldn't enjoy it.

Need some funds to buy a truck... The car is great, and has quite a bit of sentimental value but it's not going to be practical for me in the future. I plan on going way up North (past 60 degrees lat.) for some flying within the next 2 years. I can take a truck with me, but not the Buick.

I knew you had this car but had never seen any pics. Really nice looking car. The 65-66 Impala's were one of the slickest bodys every produced IMO. I just love the profile of this car.

Jim, speaking of Hobby Cars/Trucks. What ever happened to the Chevy pick up you were trying to buy? Sorry if I missed the post about it, but I have been wondering.

Well... he thinks it is worth a lot more money than I am willing to pay. If it had been a short bed I would be working him over. I'm looking for something to build. A buddy of mine has a 91 'Stang coupe with a full tube chassis and a fabricated 9 inch and four link in it plus a fully set up front suspension... Otherwise, it is pretty much a shell. I'm working on him since he has 2 other drag car projects.

 

I'll post up when I find that "perfect" toy.

I assume if you get that stang, it will be Chevy powered. They make a great car for the strip. I have seen quite a few of them at Super Chevy Shows in the past with SBC's and a few with BBC.
