I do not....presently. I am REALLY thinking about taking lessons. I work right next to a small airport (New Castle County) and they offer them. I have all of the info, just havent signed up yet. Always been a dream of mine.

Flying is like eating Pringles. Once you start, you can't stop.

I'm about a month out from getting my PPL. I'm currently working towards a career as a pilot (for an airline, eventually). I should get my instrument, multi-engine, and commercial ratings in the next 2 years or so and maybe my CFI, possibly CFII if I can afford it.

Join the army and go intell to learn how to fly cool heli's like the MD500's. Join the air force and you can learn to fly that big cheap beer can called the UH-60 thats really slow and easy to shoot down.

I've always wanted to get my license. My grandfather was one of the top WWII aircraft mechanics and was actually asked to come on board as Howard Hughes' personal mechanic after the war. He ran our local airport for 30+ years before he died in his 50s. My dad grew up on that airport and has some awesome stories about living there.

My cousin is an agpilot and I do get jealous of his stories every now and then.. but I think about how much cheaper my insurance is than his.. Something to consider!

That's not the "P" word I would have chosen.

I fly almost every day...

Canadian Commercial licence

Seaplane Rating

Class 3 Instructor

1 Flight away from being Multi-engine rated.

It's an addiction. Pay isn't the best for instructing, but it does have it's 'highs'.

I'm just in small Cessna's right now, but hoping to move on to the forest fire side of things in the future.

For those who are thinking about getting the licence - do it! It's worth it in the end, hang in there!

Haha yeah.. he's been scared plenty of times. From what I hear, an ag pilot's worst fear is power lines. Cole has gone through a set.. and lived to tell the story. Though he has trouble talking about it.. I can't imagine why!
