Headers

[Sierra5.3]

I was thinking about getting Headers for my truck. Has anyone dealt with installation of them? Are they a pain in the a$$? I was thinking of getting Jba headers too. thanks

I have replaced the headers on my truck with The Other Guys - very solid set, they have them for your truck, now with a ceramic thermal barrier:

Installation depends on your skill level and tools available, it is straightforward, and folks have done them in 4 - 6 hours, a good speed shop can do the install also.

If you're looking at the JBA shorty headers, I installed them with the help of a friend in about an hour. Passenger side was easy, drivers a little more complicated.

i installed mine in a little over 2 hours with hand tools

air would have made it alot quicker
