Does anyone know about the SLP diablo sport tuner.

Not sure about the SLP version, but I have the Predator on my truck and am happy with it.

I'm just running the 87 octane tune so nothing spectacular. It does pull harder in the higher RPM range tho.

what about custom tuning like black bear or nelson. From what i have read about the slp tuner is they tuned the tuner on a dyno to get the most out of it.

When you buy a tune, canned or custom, you are paying for the tuner's knowledge and experience. Based on the personal experiences related by Blackbear customers, I made my mind up to go with them. Justin at Blackbear has dyno experience and seems to be a thorough, knowledgeable, and experienced tuner. I gave some thought to other canned tuners (not canned tuna ) and even tossed around the idea of getting the equipment to tune it myself. Given the complexity of these vehicles today, I went with the most prevalent recommendation on this bbs, Blackbear. I have to say, I knew little of Justin's experience, but the more I find out, the more impressed I am.
